The telco is giving Australians a helping hand with a special sculpture travelling around Sydney.
Telco Circles.Life knows how bad the year has been for Australians and for the world.
2020 has made people feel powerless, with each month seemingly competing on ‘what could be a bigger problem?’. In response, the telco has worked with a sculptor to unveil a bronze statue of a middle finger, 1.2m in height, to express exactly how they feel about 2020.
Having been in Australia since September last year, Circles.Life wants to show how insane 2020 has been.
The year has been a whirlwind of one issue after another, with many Aussies feeling powerless.
As a brand focused on giving power back to the people, Circles.Life is lending a helping hand - literally, by parading a sculpture of a middle finger around Sydney for Aussies to take their power back and ask 2020 to f*ck off.
“We’ve had bad experiences dealing with everything from pandemics to bushfires - and we’re barely past the halfway mark for 2020," Circles.Life spokesperson Kristen Holden says.
"Circles.Life has always been focused on using our brand to empower people and reach out to them whenever we can. Earlier this year, we raised funds during the bush fires, and set up a COVID-19 response. With the number of hindrances Australians have recently gone through, we want them to know that we empathise with them and we represent their collective voice.
“We also want them to know that we can simplify things, and as their telco of choice, we would never let them down.”
The telco will be moving the sculpture around Sydney, across popular locations such as Sydney Harbor, Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach.
There will be live location updates on the webpage and on Circles.Life’s Instagram page.
In addition, Australians keen to flip someone off can borrow this cheeky hand from Circles.Life by requesting it through the Circles.Life webpage.
Circles.Life continues to put the people’s pain points as the forefront, running cheeky campaigns such as Heartbroken Charlotte and getting Married At First Sight stars to stage a break up.
