A chance to capture incredible memories with loved ones.
BridgeClimb Sydney is putting experience back on the itinerary for international travellers via independent creative agency Now We Collide.
The ‘Experience The Unforgettable’ campaign is designed to show Sydneysiders and tourists alike that a trip over the ‘Coathanger’, which turned 90 this year, is not only one of the greatest experiences they will have but also a chance to capture incredible memories with loved ones.
The campaign aims to show the breadth of experiences and views from morning to night and includes the new Indigenous Climb experience, Burrawa, that shines a light on the incredible Indigenous history of Sydney.
The 60-second hero video follows the experiences of real BridgeClimb guests, spliced with breathtaking footage of the views across Sydney. During the montage of the experience, the climbers also share their thoughts about the uniqueness and quality of the attraction citing it as a ‘life-long memory’ and an ‘unforgettable experience’.
'Experience The Unforgettable' drives awareness of BridgeClimb Sydney to both domestic and international markets and features real climbers in the hero campaign video.
The campaign's mix of nostalgic imagery is combined with contemporary footage to create a single cohesive story, featuring a visual direction that highlights BridgeClimb as a bespoke Australian activity where memories are made.
Ali Cassim, head of marketing, product & digital at BridgeClimb Sydney, said: “After an incredibly tough couple of years for the tourism industry, it’s time to celebrate the Bridge and this iconic experience with this beautiful campaign. We wanted to showcase all the amazing moments that are a part of the BridgeClimb experience and show people that while the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a must-see site, it’s an even more iconic experience to connect with up close and feel that true sense of achievement.
“This campaign is an important step in our post-covid journey and Now We Collide has been an incredible partner in helping us to unearth so many great memories and bring these moments to life.”
Keir Maher, managing partner and CEO of Now We Collide, said “These past few years have taught us about the importance of supporting your local, and to work with a truly iconic experience like the BridgeClimb Sydney is something we are very proud of.
“So many thousands of people have amazing memories from this experience, and we really wanted to tell these stories and show what a highlight a trip to the top of the bridge really is. Collaborating with the BridgeClimb Sydney team has been brilliant from day one - including our very own team BridgeClimb experience!”
The campaign will go live on digital and social media platforms from December 13, 2022.
