Sydney businessman Lee Ngann Ly initiated a community service announcement, with pleas to the Asian Australian community to donate to the Queensland flood appeal.
Freelance creative team Sandy Peacock and Luke Jarman wrote the script, and along with Shoot to Kill, Guillotine, Stellar Sound, Cutting Edge and Dubsat, offered their services pro bono to produce the TV spot.
The commercial will premiere during the Mandarin news on SBS on Sunday, with a further 200 spots booked in.
