Samsung has unveiled a multi-million dollar integrated marketing campaign - its largest ever - to support the launch of its 3D television range which went in store last week.
The campaign, taglined “A new dimension in TV is here” was created by CHI & Partners, with media by Starcom. The ad depicts the city grinding to a halt as giant collections of Samsung 3D TVs blur the boundaries of reality.
The advertisement took eight months to produce, was worked on by 81 crew members and used 1,256 TV sets to create effects including a three-story high cat perched on the side of a building and an aerial view of a waterfall.
The campaign will roll out across TV, print, outdoor, buses, cinema and digital.
