The Hallway creative partner Simon Lee is set to launch a feature length docu-drama called Dream Racer, which follows one individual taking on the dangerous Dakar Rally on his motorbike.

The film, which follows business consultant Christophe Barriere-Varju in the motor race, will be shown at a media industry screening this Wednesday (14 November) at the Verona Cinema in Paddington.

Lee was the sole writer, producer and director of the film, and during the 16 day motor race he handled all elements of the film's production.

Lee has referred to the film as “the most ambitious creative project I have ever undertaken”.

The film is a 93 minute docu-drama which will also be converted to a shorter piece for television.

Lee said: “Dream Racer is above all a great human story. I am more excited than ever about the power of story in the work that we do at The Hallway.

“The lines between advertising and entertainment are becoming increasingly blurred and Dream Racer has given new inspiration for what it can mean to be a great advertising agency in 2012.”
