The Block: Fans versus Faves claimed its second victory over My Kitchen Rules last night, shunting the cookery competition into fourth place.
However, those 1.316 million viewers MKR viewers came without Adelaide viewers due to the AFL game between Carlton and Port Adelaide airing instead.
Nine's The Block won the night with 1.571 million viewers, according to preliminary overnight free-to-air television ratings from OzTam.
Nine's 60 Minutes, which featured an interview with murdered schoolboy Daniel Morcombe's parents in the wake of the sentencing of Brett Peter Cowan, took the second biggest audience, with 1.477 million people tuning in across Australia's five metro areas.
The Australian Formula One Grand Prix, on Ten, also beat MKR, with an audience of 1.347 million.
Nine's Fat Tony & Co performed well for the network, winning seventh spot with an audience of 1.118 million, and Downton Abbey on Seven came in ninth with 957,000 fans watching.
Completing the top 10 were Seven News (fifth, with 1.182 million viewers), Nine News (sixth, with 1.176 million), Seven's Sunday Night (eighth, with 1.055 million) and ABC News (tenth, with 941,000).
