GE, the world's biggest industrial company, thinks the world of Sydney-based The One Agency's work. It has awarded the firm its premier Global Brand Award for digital communications excellence for its “Two Words for Tomorrow” campaign.
The ads invited Australian's to say in two words what they thought were the nation's greatest challenges, engaging the public online, social media and a touring polling station that visited capital cities.
The resulting themes were then displayed to show how GE was working on the things that matter to Australians – such as including healthcare, clean energy, water and transportation.
The One Center founder John Ford said the campaign reflected the complex work carried out by GE, provoking thought while retaining clarity and simplicity.
