Shane Warne adds some class to the incoming flurry of football-themed ads and activations. He's bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase 'getting behind our boys' for the Brazil World Cup. Brazilian bum implants give the cricketer bootylicious buns.
Continuing the run of challenges Sportingbet has been tasking Warnie with, the betting brand this time challenged him to try out the Brazilian speciality – bum implants – as a $5,000 bet. Let's hope the Socceroos appreciate the effort.
Warne has always denied speculation that he had cosmetic work done when he started dating actress Liz Hurley, despite sporting a dramatic new look at the time. Has he really done it this time?
Previous bets have seen Warne shot at by paintball guns, beaten up by a female kickboxer and scared by a spider.
“It’s fair to say I look a lot more attractive after this bet from Sportingbet than what I did after facing those paintballs and that kickboxer,” Warnie said.
“I reckon I’d turn plenty of heads on the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.”
The contribution takes the total Sportingbet has donated to the Shane Warne Foundation to $35,000.
“Warnie continues to surprise us with his willingness to undertake these often physically challenging bets and do whatever it takes to raise money for his foundation. We keep raising the bar and he keeps leaping over it,” said, Claire Murphy, Sportingbet marketing director.
