Do you like to drink? Are you good at writing pithy one-liners? Then you're probably a copywriter, and you might be interested in Matilda Bay's new campaign.

The CUB-owned craft brewery has launched a sales promotion via Liquorland inviting drinkers explain in 25 words or less the kind of beer they'd like to create and what they would call it.

The winner and three friends will head to the Matilda Bay Brewery in Port Melbourne to create their dream brew with head brewer Scott Vincent.

Once the beer has been brewed, the four winners will be flown back to the brewery for the unveiling and tasting of their beer, which will be available on tap at the Brewers Bar at the Port Melbourne Brewery.

"As Australia's longest established craft brewery we have a responsibility to remain an active and innovative leader in the craft beer industry. We think our drinkers are a creative, quirky bunch – just like us – and we’re backing them to come up with a winner," Vincent said.

"By partnering with Liquorland stores nationally we are opening the draw up to all Matilda Bay drinkers around the country. We want to hear from anyone who thinks they have what it takes to be the next brewing mastermind."

Matilda Bay's brands include Fat Yak, Minimum Chips, Beez Neez, Bohemian Pilsner and Big Helga.
