M&C Saatchi has appointed Leo Burnett operations head Amir Mireskandari to group operations director.
Reporting into CEO Jaimes Leggett, Mireskandari’s core focus will be the continued streamlining of the group’s centralised creative, strategy and production hub.
Leggett said: “Amir is best in market and one of the few people who has run production teams across all disciplines."
The move comes after Leo Burnett was appointed lead creative agency for the Woolworths account, which had the agency reportedly looking for 40 new staff to service the account.
Mireskandari’ is the latest hire by M&C Saatchi in recent months, others include the appointment of chief strategy officer Justin Graham from Droga5 and group innovation director Ben Cooper from The Monkeys.
