Jo Lloyd resigns from Wunderman

Wunderman MD Jo Lloyd has resigned.

Wunderman Australia managing director Jo Lloyd has resigned after eight years with the agency. It's the second high profile exit from Wunderman in six months.

Lloyd's exit follows that of national executive creative director Matt Batten who moved to the UK in December to take a chief creative officer role within the group.

Lloyd and Batten have been credited with turning around the Y&R direct and digital agency within the last few years. The pair rebuilt the agency to over 100 staff after tough years during the GFC.

It's unclear what Lloyd's plans are and she could not be immediately contacted.

Wunderman is searching for a replacement. AdNews understands a replacement for Batten has been found but not announced.

Despite being part of Y&R, Wunderman in Australia and New Zealand report into Wunderman's Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore and not Y&R locally.
