Ikon has hired former Republic of Everyone founder Matt Perry as head of strategy and former Maxus man Rob Pardini.
Perry replaces Bronwyn Cooper, who left to Join OMD in January.
His return to agency work follows an eight month stint at the Centre for Social Impact, a research collaboration between University of New South Wales, Australia; The University of Melbourne; Swinburne University of Technology and the University of Western Australia that aims to find solutions to societal problems.
Perry started at the agency last month.
Pardini started this week. Formerly head of data planning & analytics, APAC at Maxus, he is Ikon's new head of knowledge and data.
Ikon's data and analytics department head Tim Lovitt, now at PWC, was previously head of data and analytics at the firm. He left in August after an eight month stint.
The latest hire comes almost a year after Ikon culled its old management team. James Greet was then hired from Mindshare, of which STW, Ikon's parent company, owns 47.5%. STW also owns 47.5% of Maxus, from where Pardini has just arrived.
