EXCLUSIVE: Bonds has ended its long-standing relationship with The Campaign Palace and appointed Clemenger BBDO Melbourne to its creative account.
The decision comes less than a week after presentations were held for the Pacific Brands' label, as revealed exclusively by AdNews two weeks ago. The Monkeys was also involved in the pitch.
The Campaign Palace is said to still be on the Pacific Brands roster, however the brands the agency would be working on cannot be confirmed.
AdNews understands Clemenger BBDO's first task will be a pre-Christmas retail campaign.
The news is the latest in a string of blows for The Campaign Palace, which has also lost high-profile clients Westpac and Domino's Pizza this past year.
The Campaign Palace Sydney managing director Michele Teague departed the agency last month after less than a year in the role. National chairman and chief executive Mark Mackay assumed responsibilities for the Sydney office.
The Campaign Palace recently created a Bonds campaign featuring Australian actor Rachael Taylor for its "hipster undies" range.
The digital account is held by Holler and was not part of the review.
UPDATE: Pacific Brands did not return calls at the time of writing, but since publication has called AdNews to confirm the move, adding that the company would continue to work with The Palace on a project-by-project basis, although the agency has not yet been briefed on any work.
