Ten's new drama Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms shed more than 350,000 viewers on its second outing, along with Seven's Once Upon A Time.
Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms attracted 905,000 metro viewers on Tuesday, down from 1.26 million people last week, according to preliminary overnight figures from OzTam. Ten's crime drama was the 14th most watched program for the night, down from third most watched last week.
Similarly, Seven's US drama Once Upon A Time was unable to sustain its debut audience with yesterday's episode tuned in by 1.16 million people and was the seventh most watched. Last week, it was the highest rated program and commanded an audience of 1.35 million people.
Ten's decision to broadcast a new episode of comedy Modern Family last night paid off, with the US program jumping back over the magic million mark.
Comedy shows on Nine also fared well with The Big Bang Theory taking the second spot on the ratings ladder with 1.27 million viewers. A second episode of The Big Bang Theory and two of 2 Broke Girls also made the top 20 list.
On a night comparatively light on flagship reality programs, The Block beat out MasterChef with 1.26 million viewers against the latter's 1.03 million people.
Other programs in the top 20 were Nine News, Seven News, Packed to the Rafters (Seven), A Current Affair (Nine), Today Tonight (Seven), ABC News, Home and Away (Seven), Ten News and Hot Seat (Nine).
Across the main channels, Seven won the night with 23.3% of audience share, followed by Nine with 21.8%, Ten with 17.1%, the ABC with 12.2% and SBS with 3.8%.
