Robert Tolliday has been appointed to general manager of Active International's new Melbourne office.
Tolliday, who has previously held business development manager roles at News Ltd and Ninemsn, will manage foundation clients including National Foods, Mars, AB Food and Beverages and Sensis out of the Melbourne office, which will officially open on August 15.
Active International managing director Tony Harradine said the expansion into Melbourne was the result of a 50% year-on-year growth trend and a need to have another office closer to it Victorian based clientele.
“Especially given our strong credentials and focus on manufacturing and retailing clients,” Mr Harradine said.
“Rob is an exceptional talent and has a natural gift for our business as well as developing partnerships.”
Tolliday’s appointment and the new Melbourne office follows several moves at Active’s Sydney based office.
Ian Lomas has been given the broader role of group commercial director, while Ricki Assenheim has been appointed head of media.
