Geertz helms Leo Burnett

By AdNews | 10 November 2002
MELBOURNE: Leo Burnett Melbourne has promoted director of client services Melinda Geertz to managing director, taking over from Russell Alford. Alford said he would take a break before deciding on his future but Òafter 16 years with one agency and 14 years in the one job, you do reach the point where you think it would be nice to step outside and smell the rosesÓ. He said although the agency suffered the impact of global alignments and falling ad spends, Leo Burnett is in a strong position and has not lost a client through performance issues for 13 years.
