It's just what the doctor ordered. Cummins&Partners has been appointed as the full-service agency for the National Home Doctor Service, Australia's largest network of in-home and after hours doctors.

The agency will work on brand development, strategic and creative services and media planning and buying, with a focus on growing the business across the country.

Cummins&Partners chief strategy officer Adam Ferrier said the aim is to change people's behaviour, so that calling a doctor instead of visiting one is more of a social norm.

“All marketing is in some way about creating a behavioural change – and it’s a pleasure to be encouraging people to return to the past and feel comfortable asking a doctor to visit them at home after hours,” Ferrier said.

National Home Doctor Service chief executive Ben Keneally added: “We want to change people’s behaviour, and encourage them to have a doctor visit them in their home when they are sick rather than going to a hospital emergency room, or waiting in an after hours clinic. We want to create a new social norm and believe that cummins&partners are the agency that can help make this happen quickly.”
