Jewellery and homewares brand Georg Jensen has come on board as Mediabrands' creative agency Airborne's first retained client in its new guise.

Georg Jensen had previously worked with Airborne on a project basis before the agency was acquired by Interpublic Group earlier this year. The brand is the new agency's first win under Mediabrands.

The agency will develop creative and design assets across print, out-of-home, point-of-sale, events, digital and direct marketing.

Georg Jensen Australia marketing manager Nadia Bayfield said: “Airborne understands Georg Jensen's premium brand positioning and the agency's work completely reflects that quality. Airborne also understands the need for effectiveness in the current retail environment and they are a flexible, proactive and detail-oriented agency to work with. It's great to have them on board.”

Airborne managing director Scott Player said: “Georg Jensen is a highly recognised premium brand and we are very focused on helping them drive their already successful business in Australia.”
